Using the JSON collection and Postman, you will be able to see API requests working in action, as well as view the information required to make them. This will also allow you to experience actual API behavior prior beginning your integration.

Note

Before you begin, you will require a unique client_id and client_secret for your app. Notify your Implementation Manager or PossibleNOW Support at support@possiblenow.com requesting an OAuth client_id and client_secret.

Setting Up Postman Environment

Extend Candescent's core functionality by building apps that integrate into Candescent's admin, online store, checkout and more.

First, launch Postman. In the top right corner, there is a drop down that says No Environment with an eye icon next to it.
Click the eye icon and then click Add. You will need to create a new, empty environment for importing the collection.
Name the new environment BSL Environment.
Add a new variable with no value named initialize. Click Save.

Creating Your Own Requests

The easiest way to create your own requests is to right-click on the same type of request you are currently making (GET/POST/PUT) and then select Duplicate.
